Brief & priorities

Uses, priorities, finish level, references, budget and timing are brought into one brief.

Measurements, levels, services, access and existing substrates are recorded on site.

Execution drawings, samples, references and junction principles are reviewed before work.

Scope and phasing reflect complexity, procurement and access constraints.

Bespoke work is prepared in the workshop while trades and interfaces are coordinated on site.

Alignment, finishes and reservations are inspected, then items within SGE’s scope are followed through.

Before execution

Principles are approved early and manufacturing dimensions checked against the real building.

Timber, stone, metal, glass, textiles, colours and hardware are compared before ordering.

Each stage identifies its scope, dependencies and responsible person.
